Black Fur Everywhere!
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This is an excellent dog toy that proved it can stand up to two golden retrievers that try to love all of their toys to death. BUT, it had one huge problem. That bear shed clumps of black ‘fur’ everywhere! It shed worse than my dogs do!! The bear left a trail of black everywhere The Boys went with it, and it wasn’t unusual to find ‘bear fur’ sticking out of the corners of their mouths as well. I have to admit, my dogs adored the toy a lot more than I did! :-) The nice thing is that there are other brands of unstuffed toys on the market now, and they don’t shed at all. We have an unstuffed fox that has been around for months and is as good as new with the occasional ‘bath’ in the washer and dryer. An added note, this bear isn’t as big as I thought it would be, price considered. The Fox we have was half that price and has lasted twice as long.

Fun, but not so tough
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
This toy is too expensive. It does not last a real chewer even one day. My 10 month old terrier/shep mix had the head ripped off within an hour. This is not a stuffing-free toy. The head and feet have lots of stuffing in them. Big mess. Within one day my dog had the face completely ripped off, toy turned inside out and all 5 squeaking devices were removed and destroyed. We were not playing tug of war. She is just a surgical chewer. The stuffing-free Skinneez toys cost 1/2 to 1/4 of the price, and they last her 1-2 weeks! This toy would be great if you have a moderate to light chewer. It’s very cute. One nice surprise – once it was inside out, I thought we had a new toy. The backside of the fabric has giraffe print on it! It was like we had a completely different critter to mangle!

Grommitt’s favorite toy
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Grommitt is my 3 year old Golden Retriever and he has mangled 3 of these. I was purchasing them at Publix Supermarkets for $10.99 and they have since discontinued these. He played with it, slept with it, hugged it, took it inside, outside, to the groomers and to play dates. It was his F A V O R I T E toy.

I would highly recommend this toy. even though he went through 3 of them, it is durable and fun… He misses his and I need to get him another one.

Great Toy!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I highly recommend this toy. I bought this over a month ago for my 132 lb. German Shepherd and he has not destroyed it. Normally, a toy lasts about 5 minutes before he has a hole chewed in it and stuffing all over the place. This toy is great because there isn’t any stuffing and my dog just seems to love shaking it and carrying it around in his mouth. Many days when I come home from work, he meets me at the door with his tail wagging and this toy hanging from his mouth. I think one of the five squeakers is broken, but other than that this toy is still intact. Well worth the money!

Big Bear Dog Toy
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This Floppy Bear dog toy is the second of it’s kind to be the most popular toy in my household. My Whippet spent many hours racing happily through the house and into the yard with it dangling from his mouth. When a new Greyhound arrived and claimed the first as her own I quickly ordered a second one and life is even more fun with two of these sturdy well-made toys with a squeaker in every paw and it’s head. If Maddie and Libby had thumbs they’d give both give the Bear a “Thumbs Up”.

Our Lab’s Favorite
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Our lab carries “Baby Bear” around with her, and when she’s resting cuddles up with it. It’s, by far, her favorite toy.

I have a Lab, and she just loves this bear. I purchased it 5 months ago. She has been able to remove all of the squeakers by about a month ago, but it only has a small hole in the middle of the back. It is in the seam, so 2 minutes with a needle & thread, and it will be fixed. Other than “Ball”, (what can I say, she is a Lab) it is her favorite toy. We play tug of war daily, and she takes Bear to bed with her. I will purchase another to put away.

Just another dog toy
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
Bought this because it looked different and got real strong reviews. My dog Buddy is a Border Collie and is very hard on toys. He had the ear pulled of this thing within 5 minutes of seeing it. The good news is it’s soft and supple and very much looks like a tiny bear skin rug…real cool. Dog loves it but it will be in the trash ripped to shreds in about a week…oh well…at least there is no stuffing to scatter around the house!!

Cute toy lasted about 24 hours
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
The only reason I am reviewing this is because in the product description it states GREAT for tug of war & chewing. Right……..My dog, who is an Aussie, had the head tore from the body in about 24 hours total. This was by his own doing & not by us playing tug of war. I can say that the squeakers were individually sewn in with their own mesh pockets. Which, is a nice thought when my dog is destroying it at a moment’s notice. Save your money & look for something else. I have had better luck with thick vinyl toys that squeak than soft toys.

Great large toy
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My 2 year old golden retriever loves this bear. There are squeekers in each paw and in the head — which to my dog, makes it even better. It seems to be very tough too as we’ve played tug with it a few times and it’s still in great shape.

Best dog toy ever!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The Coleman bear (we call it “Flat Bear”) has been our Miniature Schnauzer’s favorite toy since he was a puppy. He can lay on it, shake it, drag it around like he just captured it or use it in a light game of tug-of-war. Because it is not stuffed in the body, only the head, he doesn’t relentlessly work on it to get a seam open like he does with other stuffed toys. As a result, the bears outlast every other toy he has ever had. The bears are incredibly tough and have five squeakers! How much do we like this toy? When his first one finally wore out, I shopped every local store I could think of, only to find not one Coleman Bear available. So, I went online and found that I could order through Amazon. So now I make sure I keep a spare “Flat Bear” tucked away in case I need to order a new one. I wouldn’t want our baby to go a single day without his bear!

Disapointing
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I have a medium size lab, this is small for her, plus the squeekers move and are not secured in the paws.

Poor choice

Was not as expected. I have a chihuahua. He will eat this in 5 minutes. I am returning this item. It is too small and will tear up too fast. For $15.00, it will not last.

Best Dog Toy Ever
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
As the title suggests, this is the best dog toy ever. I have a rambunctious little lab mix who has destroyed every toy she has ever had. At least that was until this one. She carries it around like a comfort blanket and has allowed the stuffing in the head to remain intact. It is tough as nails too. She loves to play tug-of-war and this has survived some epic battles. The price of this item on Amazon is cheaper than you will see it in stores. Buy it. Your dog will thank you!!

My Golden Retriever loves her Bear!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have a year old golden retriever who can destroy a toy in no time. When she was 12 weeks old she picked a bear from my daughters room and would suck on its nose almost like she was nursing. She had this bear for at least six months before she started tearing it apart in a manic frenzy. I tried buying her other

bears similar to the one she destroyed but was never able to come close enough.

Well on a shopping expedition I saw the Coleman trophy bear and checked out its nose, saw it had no stuffing (big plus) and was only $12.00 I bought it for her.I

put it in her crate that night and she kind of gave it a once over and really didn’t bother with it. It took a few days and she was carrying it around in her

mouth and would just leave it. She now has the bear with her all the time. I have to pry it out of her mouth when she goes outside. She has not tried to rip it apart or get the squeaker out. She lies down with and sucks on its nose and

is as content as any puppy you ever wanted to see. I will definitely be buying

a stash of these bears to be ready when that desire to shred the one she now has

hits her. These bears are great, they don’t make any mess and you can find them at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this dog toy.

Good While It Lasts
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
My dog really like this toy. On the down side she (a puggle) had it tore open and was pulling the stuffing out in 20 minutes. I would have liked to see it last longer for the price I paid for it.

Grrrrreat toy!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I initially ordered this based on reviews and a friends recommendation. My 9 week old puppy loves to chew it and tromp around the house with it…(reaally cute to see this little tiny puppy drag a toy bigger then he is around the house!)

I often catch him asleep on it as well. This was a perfect toy for him. Thank you to everyone who reviewed this item!!! The squeakers in all paws and in the head are an added bonus.

My dog’s favorite toy!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The Coleman supersized bear is my weimaraner’s favorite toy. She has another Coleman large stuffed toy, a moose, & runs around the house

squeaking the toy in its various spots. Large breeds definitely will benefit from a toy that is accommodating to their size, is structurally well made/strong & made to last. I highly recommend this toy to pet owners.

Great Toy.
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I purchased this for my 10yr old Dalmatian who has a talent for destroying his soft toys but I had great hopes that this bear would survive due to the fact that there are not many protruding “limbs or tails” that he can destroy.

I find it an advantage that it is not fill of stuffing as this seems to quell the desire to chew it open.

So far it has lived up to all my expectations. It is a super toy that is very soft and easy to play with. He has great fun carrying it around trying not to trip himself up and it seems to be rating quite high up on his peeking order of toys.

It is very well made and seems very robust and I think will last for a long time.

Overall I would not hesitate in purchasing more of this range.

My Doggie Loves it
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I hate it when the toys I buy fall apart. I want a toy that won’t leak stuffing all over the yard. My doggie loves to play tug of war with this bear. Its durable and is easy to play fetch with. A great toy for any dog, big or small.

Coleman is the Best
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Our 11 month old Dalmatian destroys in 20 minutes to 2 hours. All of her Coleman toys last at least 2 months. This bear has last 3 months so far and is still in one piece thanks to the double stitched seams!

Six months, three dogs, still great
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I got the Coleman Buffalo toy for my three dogs (shepherd, basset hound puppy, basenji) six good months ago. Other toys sometimes last a week; the Buffalo takes a lot of abuse and is still intact.

Major pros: almost no stuffing, which means almost nothing blowing all over the house. Their other toys get “gutted” right away, but this toy spares us that cleanup. The stitching is tight too — it actually holds up better than a rope toy.

Con: I appreciate the realistic coloring of all the animal toys, but I’ve noticed that my pets are drawn to other, more brightly colored toys first. Some studies suggest that dogs can see blue & yellow; mine sure seem to. So it’d be great for Coleman to come out with “trophy” toys in other colors. In the meantime, I’m buying the bear next.

Good but limited life if your dog is a big chewer
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
My dog loved this bear. Past tense. It lasted 1.5 months. She’s a strong chewer and I will say this bear lasted much longer than any other stuffed toy we’ve given her.

If you are looking at this one vs the raccoon and have a big chewer then get this bear because its much tougher.
